Banarasi Silk is a pure variant of Silk originating from the beautiful city of Varanasi (Banaras) in Uttar Pradesh, India. From the old times, banarasi sarees are crafted exclusively for the royalty families each Banarasi sari was created from real gold and silver threads, taking as much as a year to make a beautiful banarasi silk saree.

Yes, the products and fabrics are absolutely same as it is shown on the website. It’s our endeavor to make sure that we show the exact product on our website. However, some variations will be there due to light and device.
We deal in handloom saree. It takes months to weave one saree. So we can not take custom orders.
  • - Wrap Banarasi fabrics (thans) and sarees in a cotton or muslin cloth when you store them.
  • - Store in a dry and dark corner to avoid discolouration.
  • - Do not directly spray perfumes onto Banarasi fabrics (thans)and sarees as it could stain them.
  • - We recommend that you dry clean your Banarasi sarees, dupattas, and suits
  • - To save them from pests, do not use naphthalene balls. Use neem leaves instead.
Yes we use real zari in our sarees.The products listed on the website are both real zaris and without real zaris.
The weight of Banarasi Silk Sarees totally depends on the Zari which are used to make that saree.
